iMela – International Festival
Aug 2 to Aug 4, Queen Victoria Park - 6075 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls. Presented by Virasat Media, as an amalgamation of traditional and modern artistic expressions iMela promotes Indian culture among Indo-Canadians and the broader Canadian audience and draws South Asian culture to the beautiful lap of Niagara Falls. The iMela team will be presenting a free movie night on Aug 2nd and 3rd, which was a big success in 2018. The team also brings a new attraction to the festival, which is a Dhol Competition that will be held on Aug 3rd and 4th. This year’s three-day event is expected to draw over 50,000 people to Niagara Parks. Since the first festival in 2013, iMela has grown from a single day event to a three-day event, striving to do better each year by bringing both local and international talent to the festival stage. This event presents an opportunity for a unique and serene experience and one that can be enjoyed by a diverse audience. Further details of the event will be posted on the iMela website - imela.ca or call 416.451.2222 or 1.877.642.7275
