ARF Cats
July 13, 10am- 12pm, London Children's Museum - 21 Wharncliffe Road South, London. Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) Ontario is a grassroots volunteer group that works with rural and First Nation Communities to find permanent loving homes for unwanted dogs and cats. The Children’s Museum’s partnership with ARF is a wonderful opportunity for the public to interact with adoptable animals, be encouraged to choose adoption, and learn about the safe handling of companion animals. Home County Music & Art Festival
Coming Soon…July 19 - 21, Victoria Park, London. Home County is London's longest running summer festival, featuring local, regional & national recording artists on seven stages, including Juno & Polaris winners & nominees. There are also 120 juried Canadian crafters and artisans throughout the park, over 30 food vendors, and a local, craft beer garden. This ‘admission by donation’ event features Canada’s best roots, traditional and indie folk/pop acts. Daytime programming features concerts and informal interactive workshops with musicians joining in with each other onstage. Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings feature concerts showcasing several different acts each night. Home County is also renowned for its juried craft show. Craft booths showcase Canadian artisans and include aesthetics, fine art, glass, gourmet foods, jewelry, metal, textiles, photography, pottery and wood. Several Canadian artisans also demonstrate their skills in our craft demonstration area. The festival also features over 30 food vendors offering a wide variety of cuisines. Meanwhile the family area is a great place for kids to develop their own appreciation for music and crafts. Admission by donation.
