Amacon Mississauga Rotary Ribfest
July 12 to July 14, Memorial Park, Port Credit. 40 Lakeshore Rd. E. Just as the barbecue season reaches its seasonal zenith Mississauga will host one of the premier neighborhood celebrations in the country The Amacon Mississauga Rotary Ribfest! Mississauga known for its diverse cuisine and a melting pot of cultures from around the world is all set to celebrate its 16th Annual Ribfest. The three-day festival kicks off on Friday July 12th at 11am and will wind down on Sunday July 14th at 8pm. This outdoor festival will attract thousands of visitors and serve the better part of 50,000+ pounds of finger-licking delicious barbecue. On the menu will be slow smoked mouth-watering ribs both beef and pork along with chicken for a choice! The Amacon Mississauga Rotary Ribfest offers 9 Ribbers or rib vendors, 20 vendors selling other non-rib food including some delicious Vegetarian food options. Then there is the Ice-Cream to help you beat the summer heat! And to help you wash down the delicious barbecue there will be as usual a fabulous choice of great Beer! Live band performances and entertainment is provided on the main stage featuring a broad range of musical acts primarily focused on local talent. All Proceeds go to the Rotary Club of Mississauga and the Rotary Club of Mississauga-West. Who in turn take the funds collected to support charities and causes in the local community that feed the hungry improve education and support community programs from children to seniors. Each summer we try and create an incredible long weekend of fun and feasting for the residents of Mississauga and the Peel region.
