The Last Clown, 2000, is an endless animated loop by the Belgian Francis Alÿs. Set to the music of Charles Mingus, a man strolls along a path, lost in his thoughts. James Gillray The Last Laugh

Present Tense: Mark Bell

Toronto painter Mark Bell shows the entirety of a daily watercolour series made in 2002 in which he selected and copied a photo from the morning newspaper. Degas Sculptures

The Art Gallery of Ontario will be the sole Canadian venue for a major exhibition of sculptures by renowned French 19th-century artist Edgar Degas from October 11, 2003 to January 4, 2004.
