Courtyard Concerts at HISTORIC FORT GEORGE

Enjoy a stroll through Niagara's historical forts, followed by an outdoor concert in the courtyard. Tune your ears for the fine chamber music of the Niagara Symphony, performing light classical music in the style of the forts garrison orchestras. Don't miss this wonderful summer event, including a wine tasting and silent auction. Tickets $20 each can be purchased through the Symphony office (905) 687-4993, or from the fort gift shop or the Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Set aside an evening for light classical music under the stars. Music Director and Conductor Daniel Swift will lead the Symphony's 14-piece String Chamber Orchestra in this exquisite concert, featuring works by Corelli, Lully, Haydn and Holst. Soloist Timothy Lockwood joins the ensemble for the Georg Philipp Teleman French Horn concerto in D Major. Critics agree "the Niagara community is fortunate to have an orchestra of this calibre in its midst". Tickets $30 each.
