Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m, Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bread was a staple food among Pennsylvania-German families, including the Schneiders, and the bakeoven was a focal point for the Hausfrau. This week the rye-coil baskets, the dough box, and the wooden peels will be brought out as the Schneiders make rye and whole wheat bread. Although Friday was traditionally bakeday, our bakeoven will be "fired up" every day this week. Call (519) 742-7752 for more details.

World Vision states that 60 people die each day in third world countries due to contaminated water. Residents of the Region are lucky in that they have a continual source of clean, healthy water. Has that always been the case? Come to Doon Heritage Crossroads and find out. A variety of hands-on activities, demonstrations, displays and exhibits will challenge visitors to consider the importance of water to ourselves as individuals and to society at large, both past and present. Recycle Bike Camp

The Recycle Bike Camp is a place where you can learn about your bike, and learn how to fix it up too. There's also weekly bike trail rides, sporting events, food, out trips to fun places, and large biking trips with snacks and beverages provided. And most of all, IT'S COMPLETELY FREE. Runs from July 2'nd to August 23'rd Morning Session: 9:00 A.M. to Noon, Monday through Thursday. At Chandler Mowat Community Centre (222 Chandler Drive) Afternoon session: 1:30 to 4:30 Monday to Thursday.
