The Orchard Street Festival
Coming Soon…Sunday, Oct 1, 12pm - 04pm, 2193 Orchard Road, Burlington. The Halton Waldorf School is excited to be hosting The Orchard Street Festival. The circus spectacular event is designed to bring the neighbourhood together to have fun, enjoy meeting each other and generate feelings of community pride. The festival will highlight performers from Zacada Circus who will amaze the crowd with their incredible agility and technique, as well as a talented group of students from Halton Waldorf School who will showcase their own incredible circus skills. The afternoon will feature live music from House of Good Cheer and a wonderful performance from professional story-teller Dawne McFarlane in collaboration with Juno nominated musician, Maryem Hassan Tollar. Children will enjoy the carnival games, face painting, balloon artist, and crafts. Bring your appetite as local food trucks and vendors will dot Orchard Road with their unique and tasty selections. A portion of Orchard Road will be closed (between Dryden Avenue and Blue Spruce Avenue) to allow families to safely enjoy all the activities offered at the festival.
